+I’ve since installed a Windows 2016 server with Office 2024 and I don’t have any more connection problems for the moment. Since making this change, I’m not seeing the errors in Microsoft-Windows-AAD/Operational, however it may be too early too tell. Hello all,Same problem here since Outlook 2016 update on January on RDS 2022, all users are not concerned, but we have more and more users impacted. The cache file is likely corrupt or where it is stored is full.

+If Outlook is NOT able to start in safe mode, then try the next proposed solution below, entitled Create a new Outlook profile. Despite the various avenues mentioned, the problem is identified only on RDS 2016 Fix Outlook Site (5 servers) with Office 2016. Curiously, there are no issues with PCs running Windows 10 or 11 and Outlook 2016, all within the AD. I initially had a script to remove the entire Outlook folder if date created was before the date of implementation. I’ve modified this to remove the above autodiscover records on user login as a temp workaround.

+Specifically around FSLogix (which we use) and a known issue. We’re going to add the registry setting to roam the paths listed in the known issue and re-register appx and see how we go. There are also notes about legacy per-user auth being an issue, however we had two accounts left in per-user auth but none with the issue. If you think that it is patch related, roll back the patch and see if that fixes it for the end users.
